It was embarrassing Especially after all the trash MSU talked during the week, about how they were going to out physical Bama!. Saban had his boys rolling tonight. Watching the playoff tonight made me realize how the Vols had OU beat and had a good shot against Bama in the 4th until Butch forgot how to coach to win again, and lost 19-14. I wanted to see Bama lose so bad, I could literally taste it! Lol. Man I'm hoping that the Vols and Iowa shows up tomorrow! Go Hawks!

Their secondary is prone to the big play. Yes I know we got the one big play and tried a couple other times..but we should have taken 7-10 shots against msu instead of smash mouth. Alabama had a better offensive and defensive line than MSU's. Alabama has a super human offensive line. That was, IMO, the difference in the game. MSU's pass rush didn't get to Coker allowing Coker to throw where ever and whenever he liked. Some of those roll out plays didn't hurt Alabama's chances to connect with passes.

Alabama's defensive line has some kryptonite in it too.

What a great week this has been! I hope this leads to catastrophic collapses for both their football and basketball programs. An athletic department like that does not deserve to win in any sport.

MSU getting housed on the biggest stage in the biggest playoff matchup of the 2 games as the representative of our conference was not good. That team just beat us too so what does that say?
 
They had to cheat to do it, Josey Jewell was tackled on their TD, and they only prevented one Iowa TD with an illegal targeting play that was not called against their LB (Bullah? spelling?).

And the grabbing of our WR when they were getting beat for yet another long TD.

And if we look, I'm sure there's a fake injury somewhere. :p
 
Of course we were sporting and got away with nothing and confessed our penalties when we broke the rules.
 
Cook is mainly a big ten media creation. I'd take CJB any day. Also, totally agree with the above poster. Iowa would have scored at least 10.

And also...I hate Sparty and dantonio. Every since the fake injuries and the Chris tucker debacle I've lost all respect for him. I'm no bama fan, but screw Michigan state, I'm happy they got Cosby'd.
