Reality: We are down to our 8th string RB

If the RB had any break away speed that ranking would not have been nearly as low.

I'm hoping that will be the silver lining of having to start a new RB. No matter who it is, he will probably be quicker than Coker.

Or if he could have just shed his "timidness" that he carried with him from the start of the season......
He didn't need a lot of speed to get his job done in the past.
Speed helps, but we all knew he wasn't a burner to begin with.

Not to mention that he won't have to have that seeing eye dog with him on every run like Coker did. Man, that really slowed him down last year. Although Coker had the unique ability to get the absolute least amount of yardage out of every play. You can't teach that.

If the top 7 were still here we wouldn't have recruited hill or garmon.

Is that like when we introduced Coker as our running back? Or maybe Robinson or whoever.
Garmon would not be an 8th deep on anyones depth chart, period.

We will be fine at running back and we will exceed all expectation this year. And the beauty is we will have almost everyone back the next two or three years.

So much for the doomsday gang.

Don't want to pile on with the gloom..But I remember when we had Wegher,Robinson,Coker coming back and were wondering how they would all get to see the field.
