All hawk fans are feeling real good today, but......Maryland, Penn St, and Purdue are all better than Minnesota and Indiana. We could win each of these....or lose each of these. Team better stay focused and take care of business. Last year after Ohio St win, loss to Wisky, loss to Purdue

Yes. Otherwise what misery it would be to be a fan. Don't be happy after a loss because you likely just blew the West division. Don't be too happy after a win because you'll probably lose next week. As fun as 2015 was, I was a freaking wreck every weekend. I won't go so far as to say it was miserable but it could have been a lot more enjoyable for sure.

Just like how the team put the Wiconsin's loss, which believe it or not had to crush them more than it did us, behind them and didn't let affect them in their next two games.

This team has already debunked the history of the not playing well off a bye and the history of the not playing well at Indiana.
It may debunk a few more historical patterns before this is all said and done

Sorry that you couldn't enjoy a 12-0 regular season a little more.

Those don't grow on trees.

I'll bet it looked good in comparison to much of last year.

Oh i am sure he enjoyed the season but also was just waiting for that other shoe/first loss to drop when you are undefeated.

How many of you remember 2009 as the hawks eeked by in a few games, the miracle comeback against Indiana, only to see Stanzi get hurt and lose to one of the weaker teams on the schedule that year.
 
I'd like to see people such as AJE and Anthony Nelson getting more pressure on the QB. Would also allow us to wreak havoc in the secondary.
 
I went for a run this morning and I'm lifting this afternoon. My wife has been trying to get milk from the refrigerator all morning and I've been able to stop her every time. I'll be ready on Saturday.
 
So instead of winning being ~20 points better, Iowa will be ~10 points better than those teams. Iowa is still better than any team left on the schedule.

I was exactly the same. Pretty messed up how that works. But my wiring is...not right. Probably happened when my aunt tripped on her bellbottoms and dropped me on my head as a baby.

They may be better, but Iowa played short handed and far from perfect and still dominated on the road. This is a solid team. They were the better team against Wisconsin too, just a couple mistakes too many caught up to them.

We may not play but our routines and clothing choice on Saturdays have a direct impact. I’ll make sure to wear the same underwear the next 6 Saturdays. You’re welcome.
