Reaction Question?

If Iowa comes out and lays a Michigan State type beating on Ohio State, would you.....

A) Be excited that the team righted the ship and moved forward after the loss to NW; OR

B) Be more depressed about what "could have been" this season.

Which camp would you most likely fall into? Yes, I know there could be a little bit of both for each person.

I think it might change by Saturday but right now I am in the "B" category.

Kinda depends a little too, on whether Michigan beats Wisconsin.

But, beating OSU is cause for celebration anytime.

If Wisconsin were to lose, I'd be about 60/40 (Thrilled to "what could have been"). If not, then it's 80/20.

Excited. Its OSU-- this win would put us in great shape for 9-3 with wins over ISU, UM, PSU, MSU, OSU all in one year. Given the amount of injuries we've had at LB, this is a good year.

I would start sizing up the trophy case for another Big Ten Title trophy as Michigan will have beaten Wisky and we will root like heck for PSU to beat MSU.

Go Hawks...beat the Bucks.

Beating OSU doesn't happen very often. I'd be ecstatic, and I wouldn't really care "how" OR "why" we beat them.

I'd be happy as he&& for the team and staff, and gracious to OSU and it's staff and fans for always being a tough opponent that is fun to play/watch.

Why the he&& would anyone need to narrow down their emotions after beating OSU and "assign" a reaction?!

Good word, we just don't have enough victories against them to have any other reaction than damn-near-giddy.

I watched Iowa lose in Tucson. I also sat in dreary Evanston and watched the hawks lose. I watched Iowa lose to Wisky in kinnick.

Hell, I'll be thrilled if they could beat fOSU and I won't ask any questions.

I'll also not be surprised if they play 10 times better against oSU.

A. All day long. An Iowa win always makes it better. We aren't worried about draft picks. Coe is in town to confirm why he is here. Whether Illinois would have won or not, he would see how much better a home game is for Iowa fans.

If Iowa can beat OSU, I doubt people will be depressed about where we are at given that most fans have already absorbed where we are at, myself included.

I would actually be somewhat upset. I had tickets to this game until this afternoon when the guy who was going to with me bailed. Not really his fault; his wife is pregnant with twins and just got put on bed rest, but still....

I'll be happy if Iowa wins, but somewhat melancholy about it as well. I bought those tickets in June.

I would be pumped with the victory over osu. Iowa has lost three games this year. There are a number of things you can blame it on but the main thing I narrow it down too is inconsistency. Lets say Iowa comes out and beats down on Ohio st. chances are it would not happen if we would have beaten NW because our heads would be higher then they are now and we would be fighting for a big ten title, with the loss to NW, there is a higher chance that ohio st looks over us or doesnt have the right mind set to beat us on senior day. I just think that If iowa would have beaten wisky or NW that we would have lost another game along the way because of the inconsistency this year.

A. because half of my rose bowl equation for the hawks will have come to fruition. then the next week we would need NW to win @ Wisky & PSU to beat MSU!!!! IF that happens then we are in Pasadena!!!!!
