hope i don't get banned since this isn't supposed to be about wegher but who gets #2 carries vs. EIU if brandon isn't back or is buried on the depth chart? i say let rogers get in and get some game experience.

I heard Paki's twin brother, Shmaki, will be getting a few carries.
Because Rodgers has been working primarily at fullback and likely won't take any carries at halfback unless absolutely necessary. I would hope that E Ill won't provide any "absolutely necessary" moments.
Besides, I think Rodgers has about as much chance as Paki to ever be the featured back (and that would be less than 5%). The list at RB is long and the carries are few. Plus, add in possible recruits like Gordon and/or Coe to an already impressive group and his chances diminish that much further.

i didn't realize he was playin FB. that changes things. so then does paki become #3 when jewel comes back vs ISU or does one of the TR FR become the #3? all assumin there's no wegher
I was referring to the future chances of Rodgers becoming the featured back. Hampton, Robinson, Wegher (assuming he's back at some point, even if not this year), De Johnson, Coker, plus add in at least 1 or 2 more quality recruits at the position.
I'd say that's a pretty formidable list.
That I'm not sure about. Let's hope either Wegher does make it back, or that the top 2 stay healthy. I think either Coker or Johnson are capable, but I'd to see them lose a year for what would likely be limited PT.
