Ravens and Patriots.

You mean hail mary's scare the crap out of you. That's about all Eli is capable of. Problem is, his big arse WR corp goes up and gets it for him.

Cruz has been awesome, they really do save Eli's azz a lot.

I had the following players from these final four teams in my fantasy stable:

Victor Cruz
Gronk
Niner's Defense
Ray Rice

No surprise that I smoked the competition.

I won the last week despite getting 0 points from Romo.

All y'all drinking the "Patriot defense SUCKS!" koolaid are delusional.
They haven't lost since Nov 6th. Nine game winning streak. All with "no defense"?!?
Do some homework, haters.

Vin, This NE D gave up more than 20 points to The Colts, Redskins, Broncos, Miami and Buffalo to end the season. Julian Edelman is playing defense. They have the worst secondary in the league

They do in fact suck, lucky for them their offense is great and forces teams to be one dimensional. But any team that can make Rex Grossman and Matt Moore look like serviceable QBS is turrble

This.

The Steelers went up and down the field on that garbage defense. At one point they rolled out Tarp as a starter and that dude hasn't been healthy since high school.

They need to quit stockpiling picks and actually invest in that D.

No they do not. They have the worst secondary of any team left and probably of any playoff team but they are not even close to the worst secondary in the league.

You are right, the Packers secondary is the worst, the Pats are the 2nd worst

My mistake

Yeah they do, even with Patrick Chung back in the lineup.

Vint thinks it is 2004 and Bruschi, Harrison and Vrabel are going to run out the tunnel.

Once again if we are talking about strictly teams that made the playoffs then yes the Patriots secondary is at or near the bottom.

If we are talking league-wide there are a few teams with worse secondaries. The Vikings, Cowboys and Lions are a few obvious ones that come to mind right away. The Vikings secondary may be one of the worst in the history of the league.

Fair enough.......I just think that secondary is extremely vulnerable.

i dont know the offense and defense rankings but i know that 5 times a top 5 defense has played a top 5 offense in the playoffs and the top 5 defense has won everytime (including sf 49ers vs no saints last week). so if these two are top five in those respects then history shows the ravens. but personally i dont trust flacco to do anything other than whine that he doesnt get any respect.

You do realize that the Packers and Patriots gave up more passing yards this year than any defense in the history of the nfl right?

Not just the season or the past decade, statistically they had the wost passing defenses in NFL history. Sure some of that is because teams are behind against them all the time but the Patriots played one of the easiest schedules ever and still broke the all time passing yardage allowed record.

The Pats surrendered over 4700 passing yards this season, almost enough combined to break Dan Marino's record. And this was somehow "achieved" even though they faced the following:Tebow, Tyler Thigpen, Mark Sanchez twice, Ryan Fitzpatrick twice, Matt Moore twice, Curtis Painter and Vince Young

So yeah, they suck

I'm saying Houston's D is better, and Baltimores offense will play better than they did against Houston. NE wins because of their offense. How many playoff teams did they beat in that stretch? 1, Denver. In fact they are 1-2 vs. playoff teams this year.
Friendly wager, H8? You take the murdering rat (fkn ray lewis) and his squad, I'll take The Patriots. Line @ kickoff Sunday afternoon.Pick a prize.
is the spread+7 ravens?
