Rankings Sunday: Iowa should will be 16 or 17

I could care less if we move up or down all we need too do is beat PSU and go from that point. The Big Ten season is starting and that is when the football season really kicks off so again who cares if we are 20 or 16 does not matter.

Iowa plays four ranked teams very soon. When the smoke clears from this next month or so, then I'll be all about talking about fairness in rankings. It was a huge bummer that Iowa lost to Az, but with a total of five ranked opponents on the upcoming schedule, Iowa could move up pretty quickly if they win, and win, and win.

Perfectly said. I'm really curious to see what happens with Texas, because if anyone else watched this game they looked AWFUL. My wife is a huge horns fan and living in Texas they're obviously all over the place; it was great to watch them get owned at home. My guess is we jump Texas- even if by one spot. No way we jump Arkansas though IMO.

all we gotta do is win....rankings mean nothing to us anymore...as in if the team takes care of business in the next nine weeks...everything will take care of itself...rankings are only really important for a national title run, or when you slide into a BCS bowl without winning conference (last year). If we go 8-0...we're in Pasadena....simple as that. just win.

Breaking News: In order to keep Texas within the top 10, all other Texas Conference (former Big 12) teams receiving votes have agreed to donate them to Texas.

Last year, we dropped off the rankings after the UNI close win. We didn't come back until we beat highly ranked PSU on the road. We should start by winning our Big Ten games and we'll get as much respect as we might deserve after each win.
