ranking are a farce

I was looking at these the other day and trying to make them make sense. Really bizarre....as for the usually suspects, they just aren’t paying attention…

scout has to be the absolute worst
Ward is a 3*
Lambert the 12th best MLB but isn't good enough to be a 4*
51 -300 are 4 stars
just the other day Lambert was a 4*
but i guess with Iowa being one of his 2 finalist and Ward being a Iowa commit hurts their rankings
this why i think ranking are a farce

I luv how an injured Darboh (33rd best WR) with lousy career stats is a 4 star while All-American Ward is a 3 star.

I think it's safe to say if Darboh were coming to Iowa his ranking would plummet and he'd be downgraded to a 3 star.

It's so transparent how the rankings work. It has nothing to do with film or high school productivity. It's strictly a superficial beauty contest.

the biggest point to this is how does a school like ND get so many 4-5* players and yet fail so miserable year after year, it can't always be coaching
in my opinion *'s are given to those that go to certain schools
the best players will always come to the top
last year Cooper was a 4* on all sites then when PSU told him they were not recruiting him anymore because they were full
Rivals dropped him to a 3*
so yea i feel i lot of the rankings are based on who a kid is looking at and who they commit to
even Kozan on Scout is a 3* now
