Rank Iowa's Deficiencies.

Ok. I'm curious in what people will have for differences when it comes to the priority order of Iowa's deficiencies. What is the most important to rectify to have a successful team or season. O-line, D-line, linebackers, RB, QB, etc......

Rank the top 5 by importance. What needs fixed?
 
Oline for sure
Game breaker (i.e. rb, wr, etc), haven't really had one in a while
LB's, need recruits that can get to the ball and stay w/rb's out of the backfield
Good old Cap't has to get with todays offenses
I also want Denali changed back to McKinley.......:p
Seriously, we need that swagger back
 
No deficiencies, this year the coaching staff is doing a great job coaching and building up the new starters. On average this year players are 5.8 pounds heavier than last year! That is all good coach Doyle weight! The new facilities are really paying off. They are hungry, aggressive, and ready to punish their opposition!
 
1. The water tower
2. Size of decals on helmets
3. Music in stadium
4. Big *** Turkey Leggs
5. Seating on Hawkeye Express.

I read yesterday that a large portion of Reese Morgan's recruits the past few years are from 8-man football. I can't remember if the % was 25% or 75%. The headline of the article was something referring to Iowa and 8's. This made me think about the recruiting woes at Iowa with getting 3* recruits. Now add in there recruiting the 8-man players. This shows how messed up this staff is with recruiting. I'll try to find it.

I guess my OP meant more to what they need to fix on the field, not so much philosophies or behind the scene.

How do you not get sick of this role? Find something better to do with your time.

Considering they haven't played a game yet maybe we should wait to make such determinations. Which presidential candidate are you going to vote for in 2020 and what are their strengths and weaknesses? Also can someone please tell me what the temperature and weather conditions will be like on October 28, 2018?

i know, I know it just a topic used to pass time and speculate on what fans THINK will be their weaknesses. The schedule is weak based on average schedules and the general performances of the teams in their schedule. Just an average B1G team would go 8-4 easily with this schedule and anything less is unacceptable.

Ok, I will play......... The biggest concern is obviously the offensive line. You can't win if the QB is on his back and the running backs are getting tackled in the backfield. Let's hope this doesn't happen. Go Hawks!!!! Let's win the first one.

You're pretty optimistic if you think we can win under those circumstances.
 
His posts consist solely of contradictions, and an making a legitimate argument one must present a divergent point of view. It is more than just saying no it isn't. I don't think to highly of posts that are so lacking.

So your saying Iowa having "no deficiencies" is a legit argument? Well that explains everything....
 
I really like the way that each position group is coming along. I would like to go the other way with this.

The 5 greatest strengths:

#1 DBs
#2 DL
#3 RBs/FBs
#4 FG team
#5 LBs
