Least favorite Hawkeye team: 2010

1997- That team finished 7-5 and ended the season unranked. At one point during the season was ranked in Top 10. It was that season that made me sadly say Hayden needs to retire.

For me it would be 1988. 6-4-3, stupid losses at Hawaii and at home to Colorado, and those 3 stupid ties to OSU/MSU/UM. That was the year Hayden played WAY too conservative, IMO.

1988 was my first post-graduation season (used my GF's guest ticket) and it was freaking MISERABLE. That colorado game was painful to sit through. Kinnick was utterly silent by the 3rd quarter. Just awful.

That whole season was nothing but stupid penalties, stupid fumbles and stupid mistakes in general. One word: brutal.

2007 should be a forgotten year but the Illinois win was a great game
