Random thoughts (predictions) for Iowa v Wisky

Iowa will go 3 & out on first possession (trying to establish the run against an 8-man box).

Wisky will score on its first possession.

(Along with first thought) Ad-Rob will rush for less than 65 yards ... and 4 catches for 45 yards.

DJK will have 2 TD's and break the receptions record with 6 catches on the day.

Reisner gets 4 grabs + 1 TD.

Sash will have a pick with a +20 yard return.

Clay will leave the game after tweaking his ankle. White will rush for over 100 yards.

Ricky will continue his Heisman-caliber performance that no one outside the B11 is paying attention to (22 - 31, 265, 3TD, 0 pix).

Neither team will lead by more than 7 points.

Iowa either ices or flat-out wins the game on Meyer's FG with less than 2 minutes.
(I seriously thought this before reading Rittenburg's prediction.)

Anyone else?

Not a knock on Meyer's at all, but I for the life of me, do not want a game coming down to a game deciding last minute fg this season. I just don't think I could stomach it.

The guy made a clutch kick against Michigan and is 3-4 on the year. Not terrible. However, that he hasn't even really attempted many kicks is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good being our offense hasn't, for the most part, stalled as we approach the red-zone or are in the red-zone. Bad because he's got less practice.

Anyway, I'd hate for any of our games to come down to the last second again. After last year, it seemed like everything would be coming down to the 4th quarter. This year, we're 1-1 where the game was still in question during the last quarter.
