Please respond if you can help me understand some of these basketball questions:
1. When Iowa needs to press and is shooting Free Throws, why don't they sub in (in hopes the FT is made) to set up the press?
2. Down 6 and needing a 3, why does the best 3 point shooter drive to the basket?
3. Why is the most athletic big man not in on defense on an end out of bounds play to protect the basket?
I will stop with those three, but it has been mentioned on here time and time again that this team lacks Basketball IQ. Does that run top down? I hate to question these things, but I am tired of banging my head against the wall with the same game being played over and over and over. These games are like the movie groundhog day.

I would like to see the press extended like Mr. Davis use to do guarding the inbounder more and trying to trap the corner.
