It was Garza vs Oregon. Oregon was just flat out better as a team. Speed and guard play was superior on their end.

This is also why I think we could waited on that contract terms for Fran. His best team and not even a Sweet 16 to show for it.

Of course, and I predicted it. Iowa just played Saturday night and had to turn around and play again this morning while Oregon got to rest and game plan for Iowa. Oregon getting a bye was a HUGE factor.

I wasn’t sure the bye would be big in Oregon’s favor, but I was dead wrong. I am going to vote for a bunch of *****since Oregon didn’t even play a game to get into the 32 group.

Oregon had no answers for Luka Garza. Sadly they had tons for the rest of the team.

We didn't have a supporting cast all year to make a run in the tournament. Considering Fran's inability to recruit athletic guards and forwards, I don't think we can expect much better in future years.
