Wow, Minnesota may end up struggling quite mightily this season with all of the losses. Not sure where Sampson got the idea that this was a good idea, but it is good for the Hawks. I wonder if this would have changed Iverson's decision to transfer earlier this spring as they are quite thin on the inside now.

Also, NW's Shurna has decided to return to school which should be a shock to no one.

Yeah, I'd say. And Sampson is right near the top of the list as far as I'm concerned. Between the defections of last season and Iverson's puzzling decision to transfer, you have to wonder if playing for Tubby ain't exactly a bowl of cherries.

In Minnesota speculation is that Mom and AAU coach tell him he is ready, Dad and Tubby told him no way, he may not even be drafted in the 2nd round, he has a child to support so he may end up in Europe or D league, Gophers have two kids that might be better than Sampson and Iverson, redshirt frosh from nebraska(Ellison) and Walker who blew his knee out, but has 4 yrs left, plus Trevor is a beast and is coming back, They will be better than people think

Ellison is no where close to Sampson III. Walker is to "large" to play big time minutes for them. This loss hurts a lot.
