Question?

Assuming the Big Ten Champion does not make the tournament, where does it go bowling?

It sure isn't the Rose Bowl! It is my understanding that the Rose Bowl will always host a semi-final game during the late afternoon on the first. Even if Iowa wins conference, it may never go to the Rose Bowl again.

What the heck is Iowa playing for? Because it sure isn't the Rose Bowl. That just plain sucks!

You honestly think this team needs to worry about this, let alone has a shot at that type of bowl?

Rose will cycle through the playoffs with 5 other bowls. Some years will be a host of P/O game, others it will not be part of playoffs.

Tradition and pageantry have been replaced with corporatism and saving face. The bowls have lost all of their meaning. The Rose Bowl we know now is a shell of its former glory. Instead of by birthright, it will be by chance that Iowa plays in a Rose Bowl. Bowling is 3 months off... the team can barely see past the bye week... if BYE were a team we would beat/lose to them by 3 points.

It's a legit question...there's always next year...

Concur.

This year's team is a faster, shiftier runner away from being good on the ground. Canzeri being dinged is not helping the cause.

The defense is stout.

A bigger passing game and scoring 31 points on avg and this team is very, very good.
