Question Regarding Stanzi's Overall record as a starter?

Jon Miller and others have stated that Stanzi is 20-4 as a starter. My calculations says 19-4 as a starter.

2008- He started in 10 games. He didn't start against Maine, Florida International and Pitt. Iowa played 13 games total. Stanzi went 7-3 as a starter.
2009- Stanzi started 11 games out of 13. He went 10-1 as a starter. He didn't start against OSU and Minnesota.
2010- 2-0 as a starter.

So 7+10+2= 19-4 as a starter, correct?

I think he started against either Maine or Florida Int.

He started against Florida International in week 2 of 2008.

Correct.
They alternated starts the first 3 games.

Still can't believe Stanzi didn't play second half vs Pitt

We have this going in another thread too. Am i remembering correctly that something happened at the end of the 1st half against Pitt?

Coaches wanted to run the clock out and Stanzi did not do it. Need a little help here.

On Iowa's 40 Stanzi audibled to a pass on 3rd and long with :50 left. Threw an incompletion stopping the clock (I think Pitt was out of timeouts) and gave Pitt another chance.

That Pitt game was just full of frustration. From Stanzi not playing at all in the 2nd half to Paki not knowing where the 1st down sticks were and everything in between.

I call his overall record 20-3. I don't count jNWU because he left when we had a 10-0 lead. Kinda like giving the L to a starting pitcher who leaves in the 7th with a 2-run lead, only to have the closer blow it.

Actually, he left the game when it was 10-7. He fumbled in the end zone and Northwestern recovered it for a TD on the play that he got injured.

Well if thats the case, he left the game at 10-6 since the injury happend before the PAT and he was on his way to the locker room.
