Question: Our Oline is refusing media requests - What gives?

Sure, but you can get hurt. I'd love to be wrong, but you can't tell a kid to turn down that opporunity to "get better." And you can always go back and finish school.

But you can't go back and experience the senior season that you missed. That means something to some individuals. Making decisions solely (or primarily) on the basis of the financial implications is a mistake. Life is not about accumulating the largest possible sum in your bank accounts by the time you die. It is about enjoying the ride. He should turn pro if it has been a lifelong dream and he is excited about the new challenge, not just because it is the right financial move.

Basically, if he and the staff determine that he can't develop any further simply by staying, he should leave. But, if he WANTS to stay, he should at least get the insurance policy (which I assume he would).

Much like Sash's situation, an extra year may not help "development" at all. Personally, I think if he is having the time of his life, that will be a bigger factor than money. But development/continued development should also factor in.

I was told by a guy who knows the lineman that they don't want to talk to the press because they all have social anxiety. You are lucky they even blocked for you bastards! Leave the line alone!!!
