Hey hawknation---i was wondering if anybody had any thoughts or reason's as to why Jeff Tarpinian is out again this week. Seems to me that there has to be something more than just a stinger for him to be out 3 weeks considering the bye week and he didn't' play at Michigan.....

thoughts?

They are calling it a "neck stinger" not sure what he actually injured, but it could be painful to move his neck in any direction or something... Just a guess

his jersey will appear on the field, however since the colts have a bye week, i believe it will be pat angerer suiting up instead. keep that on the hush-hush though

Hell yeah!! that's the best news all day--- we tooootally need to make sure to keep that on the down low :D

well it sucks that tarpinian is out again, but i gotta say, johnson has been doing a helluva good job--- at least my 2 cents anyways

A "neck stinger" causes acute pain, that feels like a burning, pinching or shock that runs from the base of the skull to the shoulder or along the neck. This pain is quite intense, and may be frightening, but subsides quickly. It is caused by a pinching of the nerves that run from the back of the neck into the arm. In addition, to an acute pain and shock from the shoulder down into the arm and fingers, there may be numbness, burning or weakness in the arm. This acute pain lasts only a minute or two and goes away completely.

The real problem is a continual weakness in the arm. Obviously, Tarpanian has lingering problems from his stinger.
