Not that you know a whole lot either, but you are both very well connected. Since Barta told the players he wouldn't have a coach till the final 4, do you believe that is his timeline? Do you think he waits till Monday the 5th? Also since he gave that date to the team do you think that means his guy is still coaching? If he is still coaching then why go to Cincy?, just lining up fall back guys???? Thanks as always...

i think gatens quote was that he would have a new hire BY the final four. to me that means anytime between now and the sat of the final four. after sat it's the champoinship game, no more final four.

My understanding is that Barta's guy is still coaching right now. He still needs to do his due diligence in interviewing all the coaches he can - there's no guarantee his 1st or 2nd choice will accept.
