Put Cyclone Fanatic on suicide watch

yeah, some good stuff.

earlier in the week there was a thead (typical clowny smack) that asked if iowa could defend the spread....

i notice one today asking if their spread was the wrong offense for iowa's defense...

also noticed a post asking if the teams switched QBs, would the result be different - funny, but everything i had read over there about stanzi was that he sucked.......

IMO, they aren't a good team and will struggle this year. NIU barely beat North Dakota.

Re: Iowa State played with absolutely no heart

Just a few quotes from our favorite cyclone message board visitor. Doesn't seem like they care for him much either.

This pretty much solidifies you as the worst poster on this board. Yeah, our head coach doesn't care about losing to Iowa. Go sober off.

Cancel the series, please

ISU and Iowa both gain nothing from this series, I may have drank alot today, but I know that Rhoads could care less about this series. ISU will win big next week, Rhoads cares only about conference games, the emotion from the Nebraska game was completely differently than today's emotion. Schedule EIU not Eastern Iowa University, but Eastern Illinios.

Your computer is on suicide watch if you go that thing. More threats warnings on that website then a bunch of clown fans in a van next to a playground.

Fantastic. White van with no windows, no less.

ISU plays Utah, Okie, Nebby, Texas, and a few teams at or above their level of talent. Good luck.

Phil Steele's magazine has ISU's strength of schedule at #1 in the country. I hope the little tornado bird's fans have other autumn interests, because their season will be quite depressing for them. I actually feel for them...well, may not too much.

Went over to Gopherhole last night to see if they were in full meltdown mode after the loss, and from the sounds of things they are about equal.

I agree, cancel the series. It was fun to win, but it will always be a lose-lose situation for us. Does anybody else feel that victory was a little "empty"?

One big difference. The cyclones have a very classy coach in all aspects. The gophers have a Steve Alford clone in all aspects. He is a big time A--.

Nope, it was quite satisfying :)

I think it should be cancelled because of the fore mentioned lose, lose situation but I don't feel the victory felt empty at all. I thought we looked great. It was also great fun taunting the ISU fans that were talking s*** to me before the game about how overrated we were.

In retrospect, the Fry to Ferentz transitional period may have ended up being worse for ISU fans than Iowa fans. While Iowa fans had to endure a few down years, the inevitable bounce back was worth it. However, the false hope it gave ISU fans seems to have been devastating.

Best thing for them is to get as far away from that stretch as possible so that they can go into this game with a little more realistic expectations.
