Interesting. I did not know that. Other than the full heads of hair, both Painter and Weber seem to be emulating their mentor very effectively.

Yes, it was really kind of strange when IL hired a Purdue product. He'd been at SIU, made a run in the tourney with someone else's players and got hired at IL and immediately made a big run with someone else's players. What is ironic, he really isn't a bad recruiter, he's a horrible bench coach. Yet he did it 2x...made runs with someone else's players. Wouldn't be against him at KSU this year.
