Kerr leaning back into Salazar trying to get the defensive fall but nothing yet...
Kerr gets the reversal with 15 seconds left in the period and rides him out!
The match is tied 2-2 after the 2nd but Salazar takes down and has lots of riding time.
 


Kerr almost puts him on his back but doesn't get it. He cuts him loose and Salazar still has 1:12 of riding time and Kerr trails 3-2. He needs a td bad here!
 






Salazar in deep but Jake is fighting hard... There is the 2 for Salazar and the win 6-4.

Hawks now lead 22-3
 


I hope the Hawks let Janssen get the majority of the matches from here on out. It seems like he is going to wrestle for us at 157 in March and he needs to get more mat time and experience.
 




There is no question that Jannsen is the man at this weight and I think that they are trying to light a fire after his showing against OSU last week. Hopefullly Aaron can show some more consistency and do what he's capable of.
 


I understand what your saying but calling him out like Brands did I thought lit the fire and his major against Michigan was the result. I thought he could really start gaining momentum today.
 


THey are saying that Manuel is going to forfeit to Borschel. Too bad as that would have been #2 against #5.
