PTL

Who is your top pick for the Prime Time League draft?

I am going with Melsahn as the top pick in the draft. My second pick is Hubbard and third would be Cartwright.

This might be a little premature, as we don't know the entire draft list, but it is something to post... Fall camp is over three months away. This summer is going to be a tough one! Although, PTL should help that some. I am eager to see how the 3M's have improved, Marble, McCabe & May, especially after coach saying they have really improved a lot... That and our four recruits will make this one of the most anticipated PTL's in a long, long time. Actually, I cannot remember being more eager to read about/watch a PTL game.

I haven't seen the schedule so not sure if there is an overlap but is there any chance Basabe (invited to tryout for Junior Nat'l Team or something) or Gatens/Cartwright (playing overseas on select team I thought) will even be in the PTL this summer ?

Hubbard. He's made for the PTL.

But then again, Cougill went #1 last year.

Cougill #1 is worse than Oden over Durant

Basabe scored 30/game last year (at least it seemed that way) so I would go with him. No one playing will be able to handle him on the block

I agree on the first part. Hubbard is made for the PTL. I believe Eric May is too. Especially if he improves like I think he can, AND how coach says he has...

Interesting about Fran and his comments on May. When asked about the team and player development - on every occassion - coach has said May has improved, or Eric has had a great spring. Every time. Sometimes he has only mentioned May and not any others. Other times, he mentions several players, with Eric included. Here is another recent article where McCaffery is bullish on May.

I'm liking that. May has a ton of talent and potential. Develop the left and the pullup jumper and he can be a star, a true star if he can bring on the D. Which I think he can. He was by far the best 3 point shooter on the team, at least for the first 2/3 of last season...

He might move up in my draft order. I had him at 5th after Gatens. Might move him to #3.

I'm guessing whoever picked Cougill #1 has failed at business and/or their job on more than one occassion....

I would normally always pick a PG first. But as bus said, Basabe dominated the league last season so it would be hard not to grab him with that first pick.
