PSU to start true freshman QB

Saw this tonight- Robert Bolden a 6'4" 208lbs true freshman QB will start for PSU. Not sure when the last time this happened at PSU, but either he must be a freak of a player or they don't have a better option? Anyone know more about this one? (had not seen a post about this) Let's try and give him a big Kinnick welcome this year!

Note the caption at the Alabama site under his pic "fresh meat", just what he needed to see as he heads to 100,000 bama fans who now believe they can beat any NFL team to boot! Gotta hope JoePa can get in his head and they can put up a fight. (not sure that will happen) The B10 network thinks he is the real deal.

Saw this earlier tonight as I headed out the door. Kinda makes you wonder if Newsome is going to stick around, as he seemed to be the heir apparent in the spring and fall.

Bolden is certainly the most talented of the bunch. I think the biggest reason people weren't sure that he would get the nod is because of JoePa's reluctance to rely on freshmen. I mean how often does he even let a freshman QB PLAY (outside of mop-up), much less start? Kinda makes me feel like when Ferentz starts really heaping on praise for a guy like Gettis. When it happens you know the kid is THAT good. And for that reason Bolden scares me at this point.
