I'm blown away by this, really, I hated the good job MC did at ISU but I respected him. That respect is gone taking that garbage job at PSU.

What a lucky break for Penn State, one they really didn't deserve. But it's like Hayden Fry used to say, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.

Can't argue that. And I think this is still a critical time.
I think there is still change coming to NCAA football.
Little changes like narrowing the portal window. This is the first year of a 'new playoff thingy', which I don't think will necessarily hold. If it does, we'll see other things like maybe conference championships. But the major change is still on the horizon. Or at least, philosophical changes that can lead to coaching changes.

Clearly an early hit to ISU. And potentially yet another potential disruption to Campbell when he inevitably can't turn PSU into an Alabama/OSU.

I'm pretty happy with another year of known stability with an opportunity for a stable handoff during these "unprecedented times".

They really didn’t have a choice, but to get Campbell. After 50 something days, they had to go all in on him.

If a coaching change is indeed about to happen, do we end up declining a bowl, like KSU? Might depend upon if there is loss of players to the transfer portal.
