PSU out on Hubbard

Based on a number of classmates that I've seen around campus, Hubbard would have to either be very dumb or very lazy to not make it into school here. We let practically anyone in, I swear.

+1 make no mistake Iowa is not Harvard, Yale, or any other institution such as that.....Iowa admits people as long as they have a pulse.

At this point I am not sure why Glover and Stokes are waiting. Either they like the situation / coaches or they don't. I get waiting for a better deal, but at some point I think deciding speaks volumes about your level of commitment and both guys seem to be fence-sitters. Maybe this is how it has always worked and I have been detached for too long due to Alford-Lickliter.

This tends to be the silly season for college hoops recruiting...players get a lot 'prettier' this time of year based upon coaching changes, changing needs, etc, all over the country. A lot of late offers come in. Waiting a bit to get as many opportunities as you can is not a bad idea for some.

Soooooooooo, what you're sayin' is it's 1:30 AM, the goggles have been on 'bout 2 hours, and the lights have not yet gone on to scare one or the other off? Makes sense to me.

Seems like the only way we can land a recruit these days. If nobody else wants them or they don't qualify anywhere else

Lets see what unfolds in the next couple of weeks, but until the Hawks start winning more (Purdue Game) they are the overweight girl with acne waiting for a prom date.

Or they are about to make probably the most important decision of their lives up to this point and will be living at this place for the next 3 or 4 years. Just a hunch.

You could save yourself a lot of time if you just typed some generic negative post. You could then just cut and paste it into every basketball thread.

It's so true, if the NCAA clears you we will take you....most people don't even realize how many Iowa students are at Iowa because they were denied admission to their in state college :cough: Madison, and Illinois :cough:
