PSU insurance company files motion for denial of coverage

ins never pays out in the event of intentional damage or knowing unlawful acts.

Nor should they. PSU is going to be in a world of hurt when this is done. Although their alumni who are in a state of denial will probably pay the suits for them.

Put another way...

You can buy insurance against being stupid, but you can't buy insurance against being criminal.

Thems the rules, and they actually make a lot of sense.

Duffman is dead right here. All liability insurance policies have specific exclusions pertaining to intentional acts, and most have exclusions for and will not cover unlawful behavior.
Personally, I think the insurance company has a pretty good case on this.

There is regulation, and multiple consumer groups that prevent insurance companies from declining reasonable claims.. If an ins company acts in bad faith they will face severe punishment.. The industry isn't like it was 10 even 5 years ago. Ty will deny this claim for the reasons I think duff man said earlier.. It wasn't an accident... And if u think that that shouldn't matter than u know nothing about ins.
