There are definitely some guys on the sideline that deserve to get some play time. I think Ferentz cares more about experience then he does talent. Sometimes a player that wants to get into a game really bad might play a little better then a guy who is comfortable in his starting position. Sometimes a guy who doesn't practice as well as a starter might shine during games. These players don't get identified because they never see the field

If we were a little flashier like Oregon we could bring in better recruiting classes...we are very old fashioned and need to make an appearance change to entice the bling bling generation.

We have the track record for putting kids in the NFL, we just aren't sexy enough for most recruits. I for one would like to see us adapt and wear some of the Nike pro combat uniforms, or revamp the road uniforms. Doing some of these minor things might just help turn a recruit our way...we are already invested in upgrading our facilities, let's get a fresh new look to go with it.
