I know a baggage handler at the Greyhound bus depot in Iowa City. He said he handled some luggage with Hawk logos on it. He said the bus was headed to State College. Take it for what it is worth.

Something is up.

HIJACK ALERT: HOw many of you KNEW that once JoePa was done coaching he'd have less than a year to live?

He's in his mid-80s. He has cancer. Have you watched his press conferences that past 4-5 years? JoePa's health has been failing right before our eyes for years.

Semantics.....my apologies....SPECULATED.......

:)

it's fine - there were a couple people who speculated same in one of the initial threads - maybe one was yourself - i know one was myself. wouldn't be shocking for anyone who is his age once retired to die suddenly thereafter. especially if all of a sudden battling cancer on top of things.

It is sad nonetheless, but something that seemed inevitable.

Don't think he'd take a bus.

I think this is made up. I did a search on FlightAware - Flight Tracker / Flight Status / Flight Tracking and could not find any flights going between either Cedar Rapids or Iowa City going to the State College airport within the last couple weeks. So if he did fly to State College, he would have had to land somewhere else first, which seems like kind of an expensive and a waste of time.

Plus, so what if he did go to State College to visit his friend Jo Pa? Most universities interviewing prominent football coaches who already have a job somewhere are not going to conduct the interviews on campus for this very purpose. Plus, why would he leave for Penn State? He's already one of the highest paid coaches. . .

somebody needs to step away from the computer
1st Iowa's top RB recruit Greg Garmon, lives in Pennsylvania
2nd the dead period starts Dec 17th in time for the Bowl games as there is no recruiting during the Games

Your so-called "facts" have no place here. Begone.
