Previewing Iowa’s Second Junior Day

Looks like an impressive group.

Do the athletes and their families have to pick up the tab for travel and such or does the university pay for these types of events?

University pays for official visits. This visits are paid by recruits and their families.

I can't think of a more star-studded visit day in recent memory. Coaches are getting after it.

Anyone who might pull the trigger and commit this weekend?

I think four 247 guys just crystal balled Sean McLaughlin to Iowa.

I also find it interesting that Joe Moore is coming back for a second Junior Day. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him commit.

Personally I’m most interested in the WRs. Need to get some positive traction with a few of our targets in 2020. Recruiting at other positions seems to be in good shape.

As a large source of talent that's relatively close to Iowa City, I've been clamoring for Iowa to be more aggressive recruiting the St. Louis metro area, and it looks like that's happening. Last year and this year includes way more St. Louis athletes than in recent memory. Nice to see.

Good place to spend some time because the U of MO certainly has had its share of problems with recent NCAA sanctions and some general bad PR surrounding the college in general the last few years.
