Preview, Prediction: Iowa-Purdue Football

In Champaign winds are 50. West Lafayette not so bad .....yet Purdue is pass oriented but they throw under Iowa coverage and historically Iowa doesn't adjust to that. Makes it more like a running game with long handoffs

My guess is the wind will impact Iowa passing more as it is erratic to begin with. Seldom historically has Iowa run the ball against a stacked line and BF has been reluctant to change up as seen in 66 yards against Wisky in 2017 after running all over OSU.

Don't see a win, but conservative Kirk is.....not predictable. Toss up. Advantage Purdue at home.
 
My only hope is we get a break early and we don't play from behind. Iowa has seen Brohms's schemes for enough time now to figure out a defense for it. Parker usually learns from his mistakes, plus this isn't a trap game for the Hawks like some other years. Eyes will be fully focused on Purdue. Expect a close game slight edge to the Hawks 17-16.
