Also think these offenses are evenly matched. Defense will be the difference.
Iowa 28
Illinois 17

I hope Hawks roll 41-10 but the "ol' noodle" says game winning field goal in the last seconds of regulation 21-17. I am going to go with hope 41-10.

typical KF boring game, Iowa will try to force it's will running the ball and Illi stop it over and over

Iowa 17

Illi 13

Gotta call an Iowa loss. There is a clear recipe to beat us, load the box and dare Stanley to beat you. But, Brian just keeps pounding for those 3 yard losses. The punt game will doom is again. Hawks - 10 Ill - 13

One of the biggest issues for Saturday will be the weather with 30 mph winds and gusts even higher. It will be a shoe box game. Do not expect big points in the passing game for either team. Mistakes will be the difference.
Of course, I would prefer this game from my past...

That was my junior year at Iowa.

The Illini were definitely the team I most wanted to see go down, due to having lots of Hawkeye friends & roommates from Illinois.

These days they're not good enough to bother with hating them.
