Preview, Prediction: Hawkeyes Head to South Bend Hoping to End Skid

Both of these wins will be good for this program. Iowa set the ncaa tournament single game scoring record against Notre Dame. The more I think about it the more I think Iowa's shooters will have a good game, and Iowa will get out in transition and score a lot of points. Iowa wins 96-84.

The two teams that have really carved us up (SHU & Memphis) had quick guards and wings that could dribble around us at will. I'm not sure ND has players like that which could be a good thing for us.

I didn't say they were good - i said they were salty and capable - they lead most of the game over 6-0 USC and lost late and trailed K State by single digits late in the 2nd half THIS season - and have wins over lower tier power 5 conference teams in previous seasons (Iowa is a lower tier power 5 team this season) - You guys act like I told you UFO's exist.

Sorry when I heard you say they were salty I thought you were saying they were good

He had his finger taped against Memphis but didn't look serious

I noticed that too - I follow most everyone associated with the team on Twitter and there have been some walk through/warm up shots of the team this morning. They are from far out and I can't tell if TC is in them

Well that sucks to hear about Cook, if true. Tough to lose both Jones and him for extended time.

I'll be very interested to see the starting lineup tonight, could be a few changes. Obviously Wagner will replace Cook if he's out, but I could also see Bohannon get a shot as well.

I bet a high 70th some ranked Ken Pom team has never lost to 170th some ranked Ken Pom...ever - it's impossible in fact I bet. They won at Marquette a couple of years ago - and again - took IOWA down to the last minute a year before that on our court the year we won a game in the NCAA tourney and they are routinely ranked sub 150 by Ken Pom - keep telling yourself that these types of teams can't beat a young Iowa team.

Of course they could lose. It would be the worst loss since Campbell 5 years ago. Any team can lose any time, it's just absurd to assume they would.

They beat a very young Marquette team last year, the same team Iowa absolutely bludgeoned.

Reached out to a few sources on Cook but haven't heard back. Guess we'll find out soon enough. Would suck if he's out.
