I don't like the way this sets up for Iowa. MSU is going to bring pressure all day and try to rattle Stanley...ala Penn State. From what I saw against ND, they have athletes on the edge. Like most Iowa games against good competition it's going to boil down to Stanley and can he make plays against the pressure and make defenses pay a price. I know one thing...our receivers better not have any drops...that killed us last week in the first half.
Stanley plays well...we win...he doesn't, we lose. I hate to put all the pressure on one guy...but until we start burning defenses consistently for bringing the house and living in the box like Tennessee mountain people (think large family with cousins and relatives), that's what it is. The offense needs to grow up quick...they are learning, and hopefully they take another step today.
