Just wondering what you're basing that on. The conference? Well, the SEC is a very tough road to hoe. You could have a really good team and still go 7-5.. I suppose recruiting grounds are probably better being in the south, but Arkansas actually has a lower state population than Iowa. Just looked it up. So in-state recruiting opportunities can't be that phenomenal.
I can't say whether BB would or wouldn't be interested in the Iowa job, but I don't see ARK as a better job than Iowa. Iowa has terrific athletic department revenue (Top 15 nationally), solid tradition (at least relative to Arkansas football - what have they done??), and a terrific fan base - can't speak for Razorback fans, though. Not to mention, clearly, the expectations to win at the UofI are low. And our coach is one of the top paid coaches in the country, so the job pays exceptionally well for those who succeed.
Just my opinion, but Iowa is a good job.
And, all coaches are "committed" to where they are, until they aren't. $'s talk.
