Prediction: How does Iowa finish these last 11 Iowa Games

I really think we get to 11 wins in the BIG and are a 7 seed in the dance. We have enough impressive road wins, and I think we will beat another good team this season (like Wisconsin, Maryland, Indiana). We can beat Michigan and Nebraska, Rutgers, Penn State, NW, Minnesota, Illinois but we are sure to drop one of those.

Iowa is currently 13-7 (4-3)

Wisconsin (Loss)
@ Michigan (Loss)
Maryland (Loss)
Minnesota (Win)
@ Northwestern (Win)
Rutgers (Win)
@ Nebraska (Loss)
Illinois (Win)
@ Penn State (Win)
@ Indiana (Loss)
Northwestern (Win)

I predict Iowa finishes 19-12 (10-8). Iowa will end up a 6 or 7 seed in the BTT. We could very well face the exact same situation as last year with getting the play-in game, but I think our SOS and RPI will be high enough to earn us a 10-11-12 Seed..

Last year, we played for an 11 seed. (Did that make us an 11.5 seed?)

Wisconsin (Loss)

@ Northwestern (Win)
Rutgers (Win)
@ Nebraska (Loss)
Illinois (loss)
@ Penn State (Win)

Wisconsin (Loss)
@ Michigan (Loss)

Minnesota (Win)
@ Northwestern (Win)
Rutgers (Win)
@ Nebraska (Loss)
Illinois (loss)
@ Penn State (Win)

Northwestern (Win)

I know you want to stick with that losing record theme but Illinois is not very good. And they are worse on the road.

Why does everyone assume at Nebby is a loss? Man they are bad.

Rival?

I'm not sure why everyone thinks @NW is a win.

But I think it's quite possible for the Hawks to go 7-1 following Mary.

Sadly I see 3-8 with only wins being at home against Minnesota, Northwestern, and Rutgers. After the Wisconsin game I just think their mental fortitude was destroyed. Losing to Purdue is an embarrassment. Wisconsin will roll us tomorrow further dejection the team. We need mental and physical toughness and this team has neither.

I'm not sure why so many on here including myself have been giving Maryland so much love. Personally, I was going mostly by what I had read about them and their non conference success. I've watched them play a few times now and they're in the battle for 2nd through 8th right along with all of the other 3 loss teams IMO.

If you think our loss to Purdue was an embarrassment, what do you think of Indiana's loss to them?

Ditto. Purdue will be right in the thick of the battle with the other 3 loss teams. All 3 of their losses were on the road to WI (by 7), MD (by 9) and IL (by 9). So they have played 8 conference games and no one has been able to beat them by double digits...including the road games at Wisconsin and Maryland. Below is their remaining schedule. They could easily go 11-7...undefeated at home with wins at NW and RUT.

@NW
OSU
@MN
@RUT
NE
@IN
RUT
@OSU
@MSU
IL

Yea I think it's time for me to start rooting against Purdue.

There are so many teams in that 3 loss group it's almost impossible to know which ones to cheer for or against. OSU looked great last night. They've actually looked really good in every conference game when not facing Iowa. That sweep is going to be huge when all is said and done. I know I'm cheering for OSU for just that reason. I've said before I'm glad we got them twice early and at their place when the students weren't around.
