Give Iowa 3 for home field. Note that the last five Iowa-ISU games in Kinnick had an average margin of Iowa by 8.4 points. Recognize that ISU probably looked better today.

I say Iowa 3 to 4 point favorite.
Kinnick is considered a 6 point stadium by most books. For those interested Jack Trice is a 5 point stadium. That being said I would imagine Iowa will be favored by 1.5. That way plenty of action will come in on both sides.

Iowa will be favored by more than a touchdown.
I'm certainly no Vegas spread expert' but I would be shocked if the opening line was more than a touchdown, and if it were to be that high, I would expect it to move down quickly.

Preseason Spreads were released in Late July for the Top Games of the year and Rivalries- it had Iowa at -8. I think that sounds about right.
All things considered, I expect it to be closer to -6/-6.5 by kickoff. Iowa is usually pretty good in home openers- rivalry or not. Look for that Sharp money to come in if it drops below the hard number of 7.
I personally see 23-13 as the score; advantage Iowa.

This, or maybe Iowa -1, even with the Kinnick advantage. It could be one of the most interesting games in the CyHawk series. Or a complete blowout. Crap. I need to start drinking again.
