Prater back tomorrow

He is good to go for tomorrow.

Do not underestimate the importance of him being back. We need him 100% for Arizona....will be great to see him on the field tomorrow.

Prater is more significant than Ballad. Simply because he is our best Corner and one that can make big plays. Iowa needs someone like him at CB simply because the defense will be solid up front, so other teams will be testing the secondary more.

Just because he is our best corner does not make him more significant. The person who subbed in for him last week had a pretty decent game, but the one who is slated to start opposite of him got beat the way may grandmother use to beat me when I got caught in her refrigerator.

You proved my point for me. Micah Hyde won't see as much PT if Prater is back.

Did you watch more than the 2 plays Hyde got beat on, because other than those 2 plays he held his own pretty good.

Micah Hyde is the Starter, Castillo is the backup. Hyde was the player who got beat last week, Castillo is the player who is 2nd string and played pretty decent.

You mean Greg Castillo? Hyde is a starter along with Prater.

Yes and No. Hyde was who got beat twice.....bad. Honestly, I think all three are good enough to compete in the Big 10....it just happened that Hyde was caught looking in the backfield twice and they happened to throw his way both times.

That was a big 2 plays. It ruined our shutout.

Who cares about a shutout? It's better he gets beat against E. Illinois so he can fix it for the rest of the year. Corner is one of the most difficult defensive positions to play, so I can cut him a little slack.

Some thoughts are better left unsaid/un-typed. :(
You follow?

Don't get me wrong man, I have full faith in that if there was any doubt as to how effective he might be, he wouldn't be in there at all. I think we all know that when it comes to any player coming back from injury, Ferentz will hold a player out - even if he's been cleared by doctors - if he (Ferentz) has any doubts.

I'm not trying to attack him, I'm not saying he is a bad player, because I know he will learn from it and I mean he is better than my fat *** and thats why he's in the black and gold. I'm just trying to point out that I think that Ballard will be more significant to our D than Prater will. Not saying that any of our D players are bad, I was just trying to state that if Prater's back up could hold his own then the D may not hurt as much as it would if Ballard was out.
