When is the B1G Player of the Week announced, if not already?

I am really hoping Gatens gets it. Not sure how other performances around the league match up.

Thanks in advance.

Draymond Green gets the nod this week, not even a co-winner. Here is the Big Ten release on Green getting the award this week

-Averaged 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game to lead No. 7/8 Michigan State to wins over No. 15/17 Wisconsin and at Purdue, helping the Spartans move into first place in the Big Ten standings
-Posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the Spartans’ 69-55 victory against the Badgers
-Notched 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in Michigan State’s 76-62 win at Purdue
-Collects his second straight weekly award, his fourth this season and the fifth of his career

Here were Gatens totals:

21 points, 4 assists including five-straight threes, 6 for the game in L at PSU, 38min
30 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals including 5 straight threes, 7-10 from range for the game in win vs #20 Indiana in 40 min

This is your opinion or fact? I can't believe they wouldn't do a co-winner with the two lines Gatens put up. I mean he averaged 26 pts per game, alsmot single handedly brought us back against PSU and just flat out dropped bombs on Indiana.

That was a copy paste of the press release.

Fact.

In before herby goes off on the B1G for their apparent bias against Iowa and Gatens. Much like the refs were on the Hoosiers side yesterday.

Iowa beats lowly PSU, then Gatens gets a co-mention.

Green averaged a double double against better opponents. Like Jon said, to the victors go the spoils.

no bias at all if Iowa had won both game Gatens would have got the award, as Jon said to the victor goes the spoils. same with the FOY award with Michigan ahead of Indiana in the standings, Burke will more than likely get the award, just as it is with the Team ranking of players, 1st, 2nd or 3rd the higher a team finishes the better the chances are of a player being on the 1st or 2nd team,
as i said there is no bias just a simple fact

I dunno, after thinking it over, Green deserves it no matter his team's performance.

40 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists
vs.
51 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Take the names away, and it is a pretty easy call.

Good point as well.
