Draymond Green gets the nod this week, not even a co-winner
-Averaged 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game to lead No. 7/8 Michigan State to wins over No. 15/17 Wisconsin and at Purdue, helping the Spartans move into first place in the Big Ten standings
-Posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the Spartans’ 69-55 victory against the Badgers
-Notched 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in Michigan State’s 76-62 win at Purdue
-Collects his second straight weekly award, his fourth this season and the fifth of his career
Here were Gatens totals:
21 points, 4 assists including five-straight threes, 6 for the game in L at PSU, 38min
30 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals including 5 straight threes, 7-10 from range for the game in win vs #20 Indiana in 40 min
This is your opinion or fact? I can't believe they wouldn't do a co-winner with the two lines Gatens put up. I mean he averaged 26 pts per game, alsmot single handedly brought us back against PSU and just flat out dropped bombs on Indiana.
But what would it have said if it was your opinion. The Draymond Green info came from the Big Ten's media release...not my thoughts.

I believe Matt was deserving of at least a co-mention. Had Iowa beaten PSU, I think it would have happened. To the victors go the spoils.
Iowa beats lowly PSU, then Gatens gets a co-mention.
Green averaged a double double against better opponents. Like Jon said, to the victors go the spoils.
I dunno, after thinking it over, Green deserves it no matter his team's performance.
40 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists
vs.
51 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Take the names away, and it is a pretty easy call.
