Also you must have some problems because you need to always tell me how much better than me you are. You dont know me and for you to try to place yourself higher than me means you have some kind of problem. You have called me every kind of name on this site that you can think of and it has not made me call you any names. YOu have tried time and time to argue with me and you get all upset every time.

You seem like an okay guy so you shouldnt have to try to prove that you are better than me. Also you claim that Im the lowest of the low on here so I dont know why you would ever feel the need to try to make a case that you are a better person.

You sound like a good dude. You sound like youve really got a lot of good things going for you. Im sorry youre offended by being called a nurse I thought that was what you were. I didn't write that entire freaking post to make it seem like I'm better than you. I wrote it to try and give you some perspective as far as where I'm coming from.

Perception is reality. The way I perceive things vs. the way you perceive them may be entirely different. In fact, they are usually entirely different. That doesn't make me right or you wrong. It simply means we view things differently. It doesn't mean I feel like I'm better than you because I don't. It means that because of the things I have experienced I find it very difficult to relate to someone who seemingly chooses to look at things from such a negative perspective. It's hard for me to relate to someone who nitpicks little nuances out of a press conference just to whine about it. Especially when Kirk Ferentz has been at Iowa for a long time. None of what he says should ever be a surprise. It's who he is and it's who he always has been. It's frustrating for me to see the Hawkeye fan base so divided right now, but I'm not going to change anyone's mind so there's no reason to try.

I'm sorry if the way you took what I said was me acting like I'm better than you. That was not my intention. I was just trying to help you realize where I'm coming from because we disagree constantly. There's a lot of things in life that not a single one of us can change no matter how much we want to. I think it's wise to be satisfied with what we do have instead of wasting our time complaining about things that are out of our control.

I'd like to hear KF describe how they develop the offensive game plan each week and what goes into it.

As I watch Iowa attack the other teams this year, only OSU game stands out as unique.

Let me start by saying I expect the same vanilla presser this week and as much as I'd like to see the media ask more than softball questions I know it's not reality.

However if I were in the room I would feel these are the questions I would ask;

1. During the last 2 minutes of the first half there seemed to be uncertainty on your strategy. It first appeared you were playing to get the ball back when you called a timeout with your defense on the field. You then chose not to stop the clock before Purdue punted allowing them to run the clock to under a minute. (Seemingly conceding the rest of the half). Then when the offense got the ball you took another timeout in what appeared to be an attempt to try to score again. Can you walk us through your rationale of the last two minutes of that first half?

2. The last play of the first half you took a knee with 5 seconds left. Can you share your thoughts as to why you prefered to take a knee going into the half rather than make one more attempt?

3. Can you clarify the statement you made at the end of the game regarding the last TD play? It's unclear if you are you upset at the touchdown itself, the play called, or the execution of the play.

4. The handshake between you and coach Hazell at the end of the game appeared to be longer than other handshakes. What was said during the exchange? Did you apologize to Coach Hazell?


I know... keep dreaming.

1) What do you want him to say? At the point Purdue was forced to punt the ball was at midfield. I can see calling timeout there. But I can also understand the rationale at that point of just going into half up 14-7. If Purdue pins Iowa back inside the 10 with a punt, you're facing long odds of scoring.

2) What is it Iowa should have done with 5 seconds left from its own 27-yard line. The odds are much higher for a sack/turnover/injury than for getting into FG range at that point.

3) What's so hard to understand? The call in was for a sneak. It was audibled/changed to a bootleg. We can be upset with KF for worrying about scoring there, but he has the right to be upset if a play was run differently than what he wanted.

4) This matters not to me. If Hazell and KF wanted their conversation to be shared with all of us, then they would have told us.
