Cronin is a great coach and I have nothing but respect for him and he was very gracious to give Iowa a lot of credit in defeat but this comment was a head scratcher:

"Obviously tough situation to have to play a team that was ranked in the Top 25 in the first round more weeks than we were. And we won our conference championship."

Coach, the committee placed you 100 miles away from your campus! This was like a home game for you!

Totally agree. The only game they won all year against a ranked team was in their conference tournament championship game. Playing a tough schedule makes a difference.
