Post Game was the best part

Love this guy, and he was spot on.....It is Fran's job to get the most out of his players, and he is flat out not doing his job right now.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't watch that and say to myself "we should hire that guy". Now that is probably overreacting a bit, but he knows what he's talking about.

Whatever happened to all the threads about how great Fran was with post game comments and pressers... Hawk fans have a short memory.. I too am displeased with how things are going, but you can't complain about something one day when you lauded it last week.

Times are tough right now and threads like these are bound to come up, though, as we look for answers.

You mean this part?

Jarrod Uthoff needs to either decide to shoot threes or post up. Aaron White needs to dunk on guys. Peter Jok is just an OK shooter but has a nice mid-range game. Mike Gesell needs to be more aggressive early in the shot clock. And Gabe Olaseni? "It doesn't matter. I love that kid. That kid's a beast."

Yup, that part.

I missed the part where he says,

"And the coach can't immediately yank a player for making a screw-up. He needs to let his players get into the flow of the game and not intimidate them into playing not to screw-up rather than striving for excellence."

Can someone find that for me?

I believe that can be found in the Iowa football backup quarterback section of "that's football." :)

He would have made a good disability advisor to disabled students , help pave path for students to be successful in school and life I've had worse. I love the coach and the way he looks for positiveness in each player. He gives them many chances to be better in game of basketball.

The guy basically said we need to make shots and White should dunk on people, great analysis.

He also "basically" said it comes down to heart. Keeping your head up and going after the next play. Doesn't necessarily mean next shot. Could be a rebound, well timed pass, hard screen. Move on to the next play with a short memory and don't put your head down. He said Fran is leaving these players in the game so they can demonstrate this. It's not so much an X's and O's thing. Like the coach said, "It's a personal thing" for each player. All of which I agree with.

Driscoll was fantastic and absolutely spot on.

How come the guy who's played us one time can see that many problems and Fran can't?

Well I'm sure Fran can see them, whether or not he can fix them is the question.

This team has no confidence and I don't think Fran really knows what to do with it.
