Post-game Press Conference with Ferentz

Have you ever seen him more angry? I can't think of many press conferences where he seemed more ****** off than that one.

He should be angry. He's been at Iowa long enough, makes 10 top money in the country, and has a very average program since 2010.

I hope he's mad as hell.

Is there a web audio link or web video link? Was this the press conf with reporters or his tap dance with Dolph and Eddie.

Did not hear his post game... But how this team performs falls on Kirk and his staff. He should be mad... This was the worst loss of his tenure ... And that is disheartening...

yeah that's as mad as I've seen him...

He cares as much as anyone or more... but that doesn't change the fact that he just can't get the program going anymore.

Can anyone link the spot in the press conference where he said CJ will get the start next week in order to try and provide a spark to the offense?

I thought not.

Ferentz was obviously very distraught and upset with how the game went. He seemed more critical of himself today which was surprising but not surprising at the same time. I can't be the only one that heard Ferentz admit he was outcoached in the post-game press conference after every loss this year. I have a short memory, but I don't remember him saying things like this in past years.

As I listened to this particular post-game press conference and watched some video clips of it, I got the sense that he's having some serious thoughts about whether or not he's still got it as a coach. I felt that the tone of his voice and body language just seemed to have this weird vibe about it. I got the sense that even he himself is questioning his own coaching ability and wondering if he is past his prime.

I might just a be fool reading into this too much, but did anyone else observe this and make the same interpretation?

Great -- I am pumped that KF is mad after the fact. Glad he decided to show up to take the pulse of his program.

Too late to call the doctor after death.

If there's more proof people need to see this band of merry mental midgets needs to be shown the door then please tell me what it woiuld take for you to be convince the ship is lost.

All he has to do is change his philosophy and bring Iowa football into the 21st century, and the fans will welcome him back. We're done with kfootball.

The bottom line is no pressure, no results from this guy. Look no further than NW game following a putrid loss at Maryland. Serious mounting pressure with the fan base ready to move on from KF and low and behold the best performance of the year and maybe 3-4 years. Everyone feeling good with everything to play for. No pressure this past week and you get one of the worst performances of the KF tenure.

You so right, Think he lost the clubhouse and he is starting to realize it, thus the anger at press conference.

He's mad ad hell so we'll get to see them pound Illinois then lose to Wisky and Nebraska. 7-5 with a crappy bowl game win to get to 8-5.

You know what's really depressing, I think I would take that if offered.

Losing this way completely blindsided me. I think we could lose out if the players have given up. God I hope not.

Please prove me wrong Hawks.

At 21-7 was there not a lot of give up? I thought I saw quite a bit.

The effort I saw was from the second team players late in the fourth quarter.
