Oh, for sure... I don't think the starting job (at least initially) is VB's to win as much as Stanzi's to lose though. More of a statement to control what you can. If VB takes care of business, he'll be just fine.

I agree. Kinda like "Perfection is unattainable, but if you strive for it you'll catch excellence". Stanzi will be pushed I think. VB showed what he's capable of in Columbus. If Stanzi had tried to make that TD throw to McNutt (where VB threaded the needle), then Kurt Coleman is off to the races the other way. I didn't get to see Chuck Long play, but my dad tells me that he made throwing a football look like surgery he was so accurate. At OSU, VB showed me by far the closest thing to that I've seen in an Iowa uniform.
