Poor Greene

Yeah, poor guy can't catch a break. They will need more than Mangold though! The Jets fall behind in almost every game where they are relying on the pass much more than their running game. I think the Jets forgot who they are. Sanchez is not a top 10 qb.

The Jets are overrated and way to predictable on offense.

Let's face it if they were Houston we would never hear about them. Ryan would spew out of his blowhole but we and more importantly the national media (i.e. non New York market) wouldn't care less.

Ryan sucks at getting Greene involved. He has played 32 games with the Jet's and in those 32 games Greene has had just 4 games where he has ran the ball over 20 times. Jet's are 11-0 when Greene touches the ball 16 or more times a game.

Greene averages just 10 touches a game. That is pathetic!!

Also I'm selling and not buying Sanchez.

BOOM
I agree with your post, and especially the bolded.

Sanchez (the Jets QB) sucks - He can't pass. He can't handle a shotgun snap either. The Jets offense sucks.

Sanchez has had plenty of chances. The Jets won't be good until there is a change at QB.

Ryan shouldn't be happy with the Jets great man-on- man defense and mediocre offense. Besides, there are other teams and schemes to beat other than New England.

You obviously have something against Rex Ryan that inhibit your ability to think clearly.

He's not a top 20 coach??? He has made it to back to back AFC championship games.

Maybe we would hear more about teams like Houston if they actually made the playoffs, let alone go to back to back AFC championships.

I believe he is a top20 back given a good line. if all running backs had exactly the same line wouldn't you see Greene as top 20

Greene is not a top 20 RB.

This may be true, but right now I think it's an unproven statement until he's played in a system that uses him in the right way. Rex Ryan was building the Jets to be a power running team and then (apparently) changed his mind without informing the players or personnel department because the Jets don't scream "running team" right now...and that has little to do with the backs and a whole lot to do with their scheme.

Shonn is a singular type of back: north-south, pick a hole and go. He's never going to fit into a New England-esque offense or an offense that want's to spread the field and get the back in space. Let him have a season in an offense that fits his skill set like (gulp) Oakland that runs a lot of power I formations and then I'll tell you if he's a top 20 back.

Now, having said that...I think Shonn will always be at his best in a two-back system. He would excel in a Mike Tolbert-like role (witness his rookie season). SD knows who Mike Tolbert is and when they put him in the game it's because they want Mike to be Mike. They don't try to force him to be something he's not. The Jets don't know who they want to be so they have a hard time figuring out who they want their players to be.
