Either way, I would bet it's a safe guess that both wish they had never left Butler or UNI! UNI and Butler = success; Iowa and ISU = failure

I'm surprised that more think Lick will be gone first. I honestly voted Mac. I just don't know how this guy survives another year of mediocrity with that much talent. Next year if Brackins and Gilstrap are both gone, he has got really nothing great and could honestly be worse off than the Hawks.

Keep voting!! Please feel free to share your thoughts on why you think Lick/Mac are the first to go.

Mac is gone. Look at his roster next year, and his results to date. His year to the NCAA was this year. Higher expectations in clown town than in Iowa City, right now, given their rosters.

Honestly, Lick since Mac has a long contract they can't get rid of. It'd cost too much.

Lick signed a 7 year contract 3 years ago.
I'm pretty sure Mac signed a 6 or 7 year contact 4 years ago.

Unless Mac signed an extension that I missed, Lick's contact is longer.

Really? Interesting. I suppose for recruiting, it was necessary. I'm not a follower of Cyclone stuff, so I didn't know. Wowsa.

I heard Lick gets a 750 K bonus if he completes his current seven year contract. I hope Barta doesn't throw that money away. It would make a contract buyout look a little cheaper.

Todd Lickliter is getting away with robbery IMO. The guy has probably made more money in three seasons at Iowa than his whole tenure at Butler, and he hasn't produced a winning team yet.

There has to be some performance clause in his contract that make his buyout cheaper.

This poll was a real tough call for me and apparently for others also........and it shows in the voting. There is a good chance they both get shown the door at the same time, imo. I will say Mac's lack of performance really surprises me the most. He has recruited pretty well but something else is drastically wrong with the program in Ames. On the other hand, Lick is just incompetent.
