Why would an alt need to ask how to join the P/C forum? Wouldn't they already know?

I thought about that. I think because they did it just once and long ago, they forgot how. Think about it this way...the Pol/Con forum is opt in to view, so it's not like it has some big following; just over 500 people have opted in. So you have to know about it for the most part, or stumble upon it here, to want to be a part of it. If this user had registered for an account say months or years ago and asked, there would not be any smoke. But to sign up for a new account this month (September 8th) and then your first ever post on the board is asking how to get to the Politics forum, and your username is crossfirehawk...sorry, but I smell an alt
