What did you expect to happen? Even with Fuller and Larson on board, next year was (it's weird to use past tense) still going to be a tough year.

Iowa just fielded the worst team in program history and lost 22. You cannot possibly believe that next years team will be worse than that.

I agree. I think this opens Fran up to change a lot of things. Bring in some experienced Juco guys and talented guys that fit his mold. I'm not thinking that next year we will win a ton of games, but we can't be worse than last year.
Plus, how many people were calling for an upgrade in talent? Now we actually have the opportunity to do this. Was Fuller the best on the team because he's that good? Possibly. Was Fuller the best on the team because there really wasn't any other option? Possibly. I liked watching the guy play, not trying to rag on the guy. I think Fuller was a "work-his-butt-off" type of player (hence the "o" boards), and this type can be replaced. I hope he finds success where he lands. As for Larson, he is an unknown college quantity. I'll trust that Fran finds a good use for all the scholies available. That's why he was hired.
