I was at the Pitt game and have said all along, their d is very tough. Very aggressive, very fast, very big in the middle. Boyd is very good as well. That is absolutely a good win.

IF Iowa goes undefeated, no one will remember the quality of the teams. Does anyone remember the poor quality of the majority of Nebraska's opponents the past 30 years?

I loved after the non conference, everyone blasted our schedule because of their combined record against power 5 schools. Of course it's bad when they all have loses to us. Had we been winless, our opponent's power 5 record would have been great. Some people aren't very smart.

Pitt has to be the best team Iowa has played so far. Pitt would have curb stomped NW today. Thorson would have been hospitalized facing the Pitt blitzing defense. Northwestern was softer than cotton candy.
